A Driver is defined as an interface between the BNCS solution and some external piece of equipment and enables BNCS to control that piece of equipment.
An Automatic provides logic functionality specific to the BNCS software domain, it does not directly control a piece of equipment (although it may do indirectly via a driver)
For the remainder of this document, the term "driver" will be used to refer to any software developed using the functionality of this kit irrespective of whether it directly controls a device or not.
