The driver development kit provides "out of the box" support for a range of NMOS functionality relevant to control systems. More details of the NMOS specifications are available on the AMWA website.

 

Currently, the following standards are supported:

 

IS-04:  Discovery and Registration

IS-05:  Device Connection Management

IS-07:  Event & Tally

IS-12:  Device Control (currently in experimental state)

 

Support for NMOS is enabled globally by setting the appropriate flags in the BNCSFramework.Init method.  IS-04 MUST be enabled if any of the other protocols (IS-07 or IS-12, there is no explicit option to enable IS-05 at the present time) are requested.
